Lauberhorn, Fasnacht, Art Basel and Montreux by Coach

What each event does to the coach plan

January, Wengen. The Lauberhorn races (15 to 17 January 2027) take place in a village with no road. Plan the coach to Lauterbrunnen, or to Grindelwald Terminal if the group wants the Männlichen cableway. Race tickets cover the train from Interlaken Ost, so some groups leave the coach there.

February, Basel. The Fasnacht begins in darkness: the Morgestraich starts at 04:00 on Monday 15 February 2027, and the inner city switches its lights off. No coach plan is published. Set the group down outside the centre and allow time to walk in before four.

June and July. Art Basel opens at the Messe on 17 June 2027 and closes on 20 June; the coach stop is confirmed through the venue. In Montreux the jazz festival lasts from 2 to 17 July 2027. The 2026 advice sent coaches to the Grand-Rue or to Chillon, and the Grand-Rue shut to private traffic each evening.

What organisers ask us

Can you get us event tickets?

No. Entry is bought from the organiser. We arrange the coach and its driver.

Can the coach bring us home after a late concert?

Yes. Passenger vehicles may run at night in Switzerland. Give the end time, so the operator can plan the driver's hours.

When should we book?

As soon as the group has tickets or a fixed date. Send the event, the day, the pickup address and the time you want to leave.
