What we process

Data you give us: name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off points, dates and times, flight, train or boat details, passenger numbers, accessibility needs you choose to tell us, and your login details if you create an account. Card payments are handled by Stripe or PayPal; we only learn whether the payment went through.

Technical data: browser type, pages visited and approximate location from your IP address, collected through cookies as our cookie policy describes.

What we use it for

We use your data to quote your trip, place it with a partner and talk to you about it; to meet legal duties, such as keeping accounting records and vouchers for ten years (Art. 958f CO); to run and improve the site securely; and for marketing only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Health information, such as accessibility needs, is sensitive personal data. We use it only to find a suitable vehicle, and only with your express consent.

Recipients and disclosure abroad

The partner operators that quote or carry out your trip; providers of payment, email and hosting services who act on our behalf and on our instructions; and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

If we disclose data abroad, it is only to countries whose legislation the Federal Council has recognised as adequate, or with appropriate safeguards such as standard data protection clauses recognised by the FDPIC (Art. 16 FADP). On request we tell you the countries and the safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as the service needs it. After that we delete or anonymise it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You can ask whether we process personal data about you and which (Art. 25 FADP), have inaccurate data corrected and data deleted (Art. 32 FADP), and ask for the data you gave us to be handed over or transferred (Art. 28 FADP). If you think we are not handling your data properly, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Visitors from the European Union

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to our processing because we offer services to people in the EU (Art. 3(2) GDPR), you also have the rights the GDPR gives you, including the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Cookies

We process data on your device only as Art. 45c of the Telecommunications Act (TCA) allows: we tell you about the processing and its purpose, and you can refuse it. The cookie policy has the details.
